We will be there Jan. 18. What type of weather should we except for the ferry ride over? Also, is it really warm enough for swimming?

Was there over Christmas week, water was cool, but beat snorkeling was in shallow water away from the beach and warmer. All depends on what you consider cold, I would compare it to Northeast beaches in the spring/early summer.

on the ferry, you can be inside or outside. In December the water temp was 70. Some people were snorkeling, but most agreed that a wetsuit would make it better. we thought the water was too cold.
