Any days between 3-5pm, when the fishing boats return.

Late afternoon, say 4-5 range. If you visit the harbor area, stop by any of the booths or boats for charters and ask them what time they come in. The times do vary by charter based on the length of charter, as half day or all day. You will find everyone very friendly and helpful.

I walked the boardwalk a little after mid-day when a boat of vacationers had just come in with a big catch. They cannot possibly eat all they catch, so you may have luck buying from them. I've never offered to do that, but fishing must be really great right now....there are so very many fish! Local restaurants will cook your catch!

That is not cften done. The charter costs make most want to take all their cleaned fish with them to give to their friends any that they don’t want.

Right before dinner, look for a party boat like Sweet Jody see if the deck hands may have some. Just see when they are scheduled to come back. Bigger fish come off the longer tours.

Usually from 3 to 5p.m. the boats come in. Just depends on how long the charters stay out.
