Is breakfast and an evening meal included in the price? If not how much does the food cost?
Can the hotel organise a guide for a few days to show us around? Again if possible, what's the likely cost
A trip to the Taj and back. how much?
Not sure really - we went first to Pushkar (well worth a trip) then to Ranthambore for the tiger reserve, on to Baratphur & then to Agra. Nandu left us in Agra to return to Jaipur & we went to Delhi by train. The cost for 6 days was 20000rupees plus a tip. He mostly paid his own expenses but we paid for a couple of meals. He was worth the expense. Regards Jann
In answer to the meal situation - no meals are not included for us but you should enquire with management. Full breakfast was 37r rupees I think & not a great range really.
We used a guide by the name of Nandu & he was great - we toured for 6 days with him. His phone number is +91 09001929420. He is on what's up if you use that free call method you dial +919001929420 if dialling from outside India
Yes breakfast was included in the price and there was a good selection of both western and indian food, as well as fruit, yoghurt etc. There was also proper coffee available which we didn't always get at other places when we were travelling around. Dinner was not included but was a set self service Indian meal when we were there, but I can't remember the price.
We didn't use them for help with travel because we had already been given a recommendation of a local Tuk Tuk driver guide who we used throughout our visit. We then took a train to Agra and took ourselves around the Taj.
Breakfast was definitely included but not dinner. The evening view from the terrace is more than worth the extra cost. It's a walk to the Taj from there, go early, get a local guide for some great pics. A 10 minute auto to the fort. Very cheap.
