Depends on the weather, if it is dry you'll enjoy more of the colors imo, the movie in the visitor centre is nice, we took a couple a hours, becoause we like to take the time to take pictures
There is a short movie you want to watch at the beginning. I probably could have watched the movie and walked through the iron works in 45 minutes but my husband enjoyed it so much that we probably took about twice that long.
We only walked around the exterior and it took about 30 minutes.
It’s a self guided tour. I’d say allow about an hour.
My group of four took about two and a half hours to go through the entire site.
I went to the special event & intend to go back to see the entire site. I was told if you’re a history buff, Plan about 3 hours to fully enjoy.
