Last year me and my new wife honeymooned at your Al Wadi resort. Our stay was superb, even though we were both slightly disappointed that none of the staff members acknowledged it was our honeymoon. Nevertheless we very much enjoyed our stay and are planning on celebrating our one year wedding anniversary with you again but this time at the Ras Al Khaimah beach resort.
Now my question is about the privacy of the villas' pool/outside area at the beach resort. From images on your website the area seems to be very open with individuals being able to walk by and view if they so please. As my wife is a woman who observes the hijab (veil) it is very important that the pool has the utmost privacy. Is this something you can cater to before we make our reservation?
Dear Mr. Salih
Greetings from Banyan Tree Ras Al Khaimah!
I would like to thank you for your message and the interest to return back to one of our Banyan Tree Resorts here. Please do accept my apologies if my team did not recognise the fact that you were celebrating your honeymoon. This is not the norm and rest assured, we’ll make it up to you on your return visit.
The resort at the beach does not offer 100% privacy compared to our desert resort. The villas are open facing the ocean, meaning that a guest can be seen if another guests walks on the beach. We are presently, through our landscaping department, in the process of creating full privacy in at least 6 to 8 of our villas there, but this will not be completed for a few months yet.
Should you wish, we can allocate your stay at the beach at the furthest villa towards the end, ensuring only one neighbour. All villas do have privacy screens on the sides but still open towards the beach.
As an alternative, we could always recommend a return visit to Banyan Tree Al Wadi, off course.
With kind regards
