Is the water/ice filtered? Would it be better to only drink bottled water?

I always drink bottled water, especially in India, just to be on the safe side. As someone here has noted, they do provide bottled water in the room and they will be happy to bring more.

We had several meals there but I do not remember drinking the water. I had no GI upset from any of the restaurants. Most of the food that I ate was cooked but I did have some raw, sliced fruit.

Bottled water is provided in the rooms and I would use this for drinking game and cleaning teeth, rising toothbrush. Water and ice in restaurants and bars should be OK.

I cannot answer your question but my advice is that you should always drink bottled water in India however high the standards of the hotel are. Also be very careful with ice.

Hi Ashley, I don't know for sure, but as usually in Asia, I always drink bottled water. In this top hotels, I have never had a problem, as they cook and make the ice cubes with bottled water.

I would always only drink the bottled water.. and the hotel provides lots of that free of charge, so no reason to take any risk
