Gilchrists for breakfast. There's 2 of them in AC now. 1 in The Chelsea tower of Trop on the Pacific Ave side & the other in Gardners Basin on the water. The aquarium in Gardners Basin. They have a #1off coupon at their site and plenty of free parking. Links cannot be posted here so, I did put links in the AC forum. The Walk for shopping and Los Amigos [Mmmm, Grand Gold Margaritas!] and/or WingCraft [Mmmm, double~cheesburgers] for food & drink. I put a link in the forum for The Walk coupons. Bass Pro & the AC Arts Garage. WhiteHouse Subs [Mmmm, Whitehouse Special!]. Climb the Lighthouse & have breakfast and/or lunch at Hot Bagels & Mo [Mmmm, chicken florentine wrap!]. See the decorations in Irish Pub [Mmmm, corned beef!]. I suggest trying posting in the AC forum for more detailed responses with links.

If you are a AAA member, you can get a TourBook for New Jersey for the Atlantic City area and Philadelphia. Each Casino offers its own entertainment and you may look at their site for availability during your visit. Locally it is cruising, shopping and casinos. If you rent a car there are several other areas of interest. Cape May is historical and picturesque. They also have two War Museum, If you are into that.

There are several sites on line: Things to do in Atlantic City.

Enjoy your stay!

Well I am really not sure. This area is really an amzing place. I always go there in the Fall. Everything is opened and there are so many nice citirs around there. Cape May, egg harbor and the wildwood areas. I am really not much of a gambler but they all offer a great selection of so great dinning. The Borgatta is an amazing place also.

The buffet at Harrahs is much better than Caesars. Crab legs every day! The spa is good, but I personally enjoy Bally’s spa better. They (Bally’s) have a huge indoor pool that you can use if you get a spa treatment there. Just walking the Boardwalk is always one of my favorite things to do if the weather is OK.

We are going to AC for the same dates and I was wondering the same thing. I was down October 1 and most of the stores on the Boardwalk are closed. The Mall across from Ceasars is open and of course the Casinos. I think there are a couple shows there. There's one at the Tropicana and one at Resorts. I don't know how long they are running. I think there's some kind of show at Harrah's also, however I'm not sure. Maybe you could call about the shows or check the websites for the information.

I'm just hoping that there is no snow or ice, because AC is not the place to be in winter weather. If that's the case we will be staying home.

Enjoy yourself and be safe!!!

Hi,

That sounds like a nice mini vacation. I hope you enjoy it. I would recommend the following: If you like a massage and some real relaxation go to the health spa. The buffet upstairs is very good and Morton's steakhouse is very good. Also I found that the slot machines downstairs paid off more than the slots upstairs. Good luck and have fun

There's plenty to do. Lots of shows and shopping. Of course gambling. Hour and half from Philadelphia. Two hours from Deleware.
