I will be in Moscow for the World Cup this Summer and would like to visit Minsk. Do I need a visa to enter Belarus from Russia with a Canadian passport?
Martin K absolutely right
If you fly from Moscow to Minsk, it would be considered as domestic flight. So I’m not sure whether you need a visa. Normally it’s 5 days visa free at Minsk airport for Canadian passport holder. But you need to bring along proof of travel insurance for the duration of your stay. Otherwise, you would need to purchase their insurance. There won’t be any border control if you fly from Moscow to Minsk so I’m not sure about the visa situation. It’s better for you to email the Belarus embassy.
So if you drive to Belarus from Moscow you will have to apply for a Visa to enter Belarus Since you're not coming in through the International Airport
Hi, as an Canadian citizen you can enter Belarus Visa free for 5 days, but only Via The international Airport in Minsk. So if you will fly from Moscow to Minsk you have to use a 3 country. Like Moscow>Riga>Minsk Or Moscow>Stockholm>Minsk
