Hi, thank you for asking a question, my apologies for the delay in responding.

When booking your spa session with us, in the additional requests section of the online form, you may request a male therapist. I also, have a female therapist that can hold her own as well. I would also like to mention, that we take a slightly different approach to the "soft"/"strong" massage. With regards to our deep tissue massage, we do our best to soften the muscles to get to the deeper layers to work them out, instead of attempting to use brute force to get past the superficial fascia. That being said, please note that we do not "hurt" our customers; nor do we wish for our customers to feel "beat up" after a session with us here at Cheeva Spa. I also am of the mindset that a truly relaxing massage is therapeutic in nature.

If you have any additional questions, please go to our website and you may ask a question via our contact page.

I hope to hear from you in the near future.

It's not really the size of the customer or masseur that is important, more the skill of the masseur. People are usually mistaken in thinking brute force is necessary.

I'm not sure if they have men to give the massage. We both are done by the ladies but I guess it shouldn't be a problem, as the ladies are professional in using pressure and it's a usual practice for people who give the massage "on" the massage bed or even "climb on" your body in Thailand, this helps them put more pressure during the massage. Hope this helps.

I don't think I saw any masseurs at the spa but all were very professional - they know what they're doing. Most of Thai therapists I've experienced are female though. Hope this helps.
