You can do both the Grand Palace grounds which also has the temple with the Emerald Buddha (most special) and Wat Pho which has the Reclining Buddha and the Thai Massage School. Both are close and beautiful. Crowds at the Grand Palace grounds.

I would suggest the reclining Buddha would be better time spent.

Don’t miss it.

It is the holiest of the Buddhist temples. The Buddha is only about 2 feet tall (small). It’s made of jade. Its very crowded and located on the grounds of the palace. If you’re going to Thailand why would you miss the holiest site and not take in the entire site? Just be prepared for the crowds.
