I would like to avoid the busiest times, would this be in the evening? And if so up until what time is it open to ? Someone mentioned a tuk tuk tour?
Thank you for any advice.
Yes, the earlier you can go, the better. You want to avoid both the crowds and the heat. This location also closes early. They stop selling tickets at 3:30, I believe, and close at 4. You can't get a tuk tuk inside this location. It's walking only. ...and as another traveler has noted, people outside will tell you that it's closed and try to get you to go to other places that they suggest. Don't believe a word of it.
A morning visit is best, less hot and a little quieter. 1100 hrs onward and it vets busy and midday onwards it is getting hot.
ignore all the tuk tuk drivers saying "..... it is shut!" or "it is full of chinese".... head on in and be amazed. I think you will find it shuts at about 4 pm, so evening is a bad option!
I think its pretty busy all the time. I would go first thing when it opens. Not sure of its times.Tuk Tuk tour was lots of fun. I enjoyed it.
Enjoy the trip
I would go early morning not 2 hot and less busy you can be done before it gets Really busy and 2 Hot
best time is early in the morning...and tuktuk always make sure you get the governement certified tuktuk,....and they will probably try to bring you to some shady place to buy suits and shop as they get a commission every time they bring a customer in...you took tuk tuk for at least 2 hours and paid only 40B some of them will try to charge you over 200B
