Hey is this hotel a great hotel to stay in for the Songkran festival?
I would agree with others and say no. It is in a business area and the neighborhood will be deserted. Think carefully about whether you wish to be in Thailand for Songkran - it's the hottest time of the year and a lot of places close. Many expats leave specifically to avoid it. There's only so much flour and water you want sprayed at you... If you want to be part of the festivities, maybe try a touristy part of town. Otherwise pick a different time of year to visit.
I think if you want to be in the middle of the action then Como might be not the right Hotel. It's not very busy around the Hotel during the weekend as it is in the business district. However you could always take a taxi or public transportation to get around.
I'm not sure where the festival is based. This is in the business district with good transport
