Thank you very much for your question.
We charge 800 rupee during day time and 1200 for night time. This charge is for private car.Normally if you take taxi it will be 500 to 600 rupee.
Hey Fahad, depends if there is still a fuel crisis. I have been to Kathmandu in December and there was a fuel shortage - so everything was more expensive than usual, especially the transportation.
If you want to go to the city center (from the airport), let's say somewhere around the Thamel area, the normal price should be around 500 rupees (one way). But if the crisis is still present, than you should expect prices up to 2000 rupees (one way). However even during the crisis prices are negotiable, so the reasonable price is up to 1500 rupees then. Try to negotiate with the driver before you enter the taxi.
The another hint - if you are staying in the hotel, try to ask for a price offer for the airport pick up first. This should be much more convenient way how to get a better price and not to get lost or stuck somewhere. Kathmandu is really busy, overcrowded, so if you want to be sure, that the driver knows where the hotel really is, try to ask for arrangements from your hotel.
