I want to ideally rebut your reply that is utterly wrong i have shown the bedbug to member of staff in our room at 3:00am at night when it bit my partner also that is why they have change my room from 108 to 119 this is nothing else but simple falsification of facts and misleading ideally want to challenger her here your reply is absolutely misleading however i am very much planing to get in touch in local authorities in Morroco i would no way accpet this speacially when you are nothing but lieing about situation . i am frequent travellar and it is far worst hotel i have ever stayed in and on the top i have tried for 24hrs to get a comment from any body from management while i was there but no joy also am a wirter and i will hit all major news papers in coming weeks along with social media you can not mis lead people who are booking hotel in good faith #shame#islane#bedbugs
Hi I was interested to read your experience as we went there some months ago and thought the place was miserable. We took photos to show the dreadful state of the walls and floor, dirty and smelly bathroom which we hated to have to use. We were stuck there for a week although escaped for a couple of days when we took an overnight trip to the desert. Looking on the AA website to judge star ratings I could tell that this hotel wasn't even 1 star. Cleanliness and decent décor is a must to have any rating at all. We were so happy to get home and I have been pursuing Thomsons ever since now for months to get some form of compensation. They deny that the hotel wasn't 4 star which was sold to us when we paid for it in Taunton. They keep forwarding our grievance onto Superbreak although it was the Taunton branch of Thomsons where we booked and paid for the holiday so under the law Thomsons are responsible contractually. We have been offered £100 compensation which we declined. I am looking for at least £600. If we had known the state of the place we would most certainly have gone somewhere else. Our next step is probably to use Twitter and other media so everyone who uses it can see what has happened to us and make their own judgements about whether to book any holiday through Thomsons. (We are repeat customers too, our first two were to Madeira and Barcelona which we enjoyed.) I am just about to chase Thomsons up again after they have ignored my last email to their customer complaints department for months. This is appalling customer service.
