Yes, I would recommend. We did the couples massage and it was wonderful. Very romantic dinner, and the ocean view rooms are nice, with a balcony that looks at the beach. And easy to walk to other restaurants/bars close by also.

Excellent location for your special getaway. 30 minutes south is the historic city of St. Augustine. The oldest city in the USA. You can explore there for a couple of days. Lighthouse and Alligator Farm also nearby.

One Ocean is a 4-star resort and would rate as 5-star with one exception the water closet is not separated from the bathe/shower area.

This is a great hotel for your occasion depending on how long you stay. It does have an excellent spa if your wife likes that...and it is right in the heart of Atlantic Beach night life (restaurants and bars). A quick drive south opens up Neptune and Jax Beach and then Ponte Vedra for other activities. You can also take a ferry ride north and explore Fernandina. If you want everything in one place and do not want to drive, there may not be enough activities, but plenty of beach to play on! This is a quiet setting. The Jax Beach area is a sleepy town and doesn't have all the big ferris wheels and boardwalks you see at other beach towns along the Atlantic.

This location is absolutely beautiful and very romantic. I would highly recommend you planning an anniversary get away there. I would suggest a spa session, maybe a couples massage. and then a day at the beach.

Tony yes I would recommend the hotel. It is right on the beach, good food and drink, great spa (I am told), but it is also in the heart of the area, so easy walking distance to shop, restaurants and bars. The beach is really good. I only stop and visit friends on my way somewhere else, so I really do not know much about the area. Hope this helped

Yes, this is a very nice luxury hotel and spa in Atlantic beach, FL, and it sits on a sand dune overlooking the ocean. It is in walking distance to several awesome restaurants, and some shopping. Many of my friends locally will stay there for the weekend for a special occasion, and they live just 20mins away. It really is a special place and is a romantic getaway.

Yes, the perfect anniversary spot. Suggestions above are are spot on and I would add that a couples massage is a must. Request a massage room with an ocean view! Arrive at your massage appointment early so you can order a nice cocktail and relax in the waiting area which overlooks the ocean. There are a variety of restaurants in the area to fit anyones tastes. Salt Life is a great choice if you want great food in a little more beach atmosphere. No water view but you can get your fill of that while at the hotel, spa, and beach walks!

This would be a wonderful and romantic place for an anniversary. You can get the couples massage, enjoy moonlight walks on the beach and coffee in the morning watching the sunrise over the Atlantic from your room.
