I have read that the Dublin bus # 44 drops off in Enniskerry Village and then it is possible to walk to Powerscourt Gardens. Has anyone experienced this walk ?

Honestly I'd prefer the walk from Powerscourt DOWN to the village. The drive is stunning, the view breath taking as is most of that part of Wicklow.

You can book a tour from Dublin city to the gardens entrance fee and coach ride included.

At present its warm, no rain. Either way you will love the experience.

The walk is slightly uphill to the hotel. Take your umbrella! Not a difficult walk. The hotel will take you almost anywhere in the immediate area.

I have done the walk from Enniskerry to the Powerscourt Gardens and House. It will be half an hour. When the weather is good it is a very nice walk.

We walked down from the hotel to the village. It was not too bad a walk. Stayed three nights there with no car, no problem. We are in our 60s, decent shape but not athletic and found it to be a decent walk, not easy but not real hard.
