I already answered the question..see above. BUT I can also say that the scenic shots all around the place is also worthy of a stop even if the shop is not open.

The tour of the farm area behind the shop, which includes a video beforehand, cost us nothing directly but a donation was asked for. IT IS a very good walkthrough! The shop is first rate and the prices are the same as the shops in near-by towns. The quality was, I thought, higher. While shopping the owners stay clear of you but are readily available to answer questions. If you are pondering there is always a chance to sit and have a tea or coffee. A great place and a MUST stop.

There is no admission to Molly Gallivan's Cottage but if you want to do the tour of the site (which I would strongly recommend both for adults and children), there is a charge per person but possible this can be negotiated with the proprietor....I was with a group of adults so no sure what if any price is charged for children! Molly Gallivan's is on the road between Kenmare, Co. Kerry and the beautiful town of Glengarriff in Co. Cork and by my estimation approx. 45 - 60 mins drive from Eclipse Adventure Centre.

Their site is mollygallivans but this site won't let me put a URL.

As someone else said, the shop is free but there is a charge for the tour of Molly's old farmstead. We did not take the tour. The shop is interesting in itself and we had a delicious, simple lunch there. Lots of crafts, pottery and wool items.

Our driver just made that a stop along our way there's no charge to get into the actual shop we stopped there we didn't do any of the farming. I wish I could help you out with that. They do have a website and you can contact them via email and ask that question

I am sorry but we were on a tour of the area, so I'm not sure what the admission prices were, or if there are special rates for families. Also, we didn't visit the Eclipse Centre you mentioned, so I'm unable to answer that question either!

You might want to email Molly Gallivans to have these queries answered.

Good luck!

Sorry as we were on a tour, I have no knowledge of the pricing structure. Being on the bus we were not aware of travel times or distance.

I am not sure of any family offers but i am sure that if you gave them a call on +353 64 664 0714 they would be able to help you.

it is approximately 30 km from the Eclipse Adventure Center along the N71 and would take about 30 mins.

Have a great time.

I don't know about any deals for families as we were part of a tour group of 51 people but I am sure you and your children would enjoy this experience.
