What is the best way to get to the Oslo International Airport from the hotel? We will be flying out July 30/17.
We went by train. It was easy, fast and direct.
The Flybussen is the easiest. The stop is just over 2 blocks from the hotel so it's alot closer to the hotel than the train station. BTW, the train is faster but the bus is cheaper than the train, and you get to see more of the area. Allow an hour with just a few stops. To get to the nearest bus stop to the Bristol, when you walk out of the hotel, take an immediate right, then another right at the next street, walk up 2 blocks, take a right, and you'll see the sign for the Flybussen. The hotel can give you the schedule but their directions to the stop were off. Because we would have luggage the next day, we walked to the stop the day before to make sure we knew where it was. Made it easy and convenient.

As you are flying out on a Sunday a taxi will be very expensive as the price goes up significantly on weekends. You can book a taxi from your hotel for a "fixed price" (which for us was about $150 AUD). You can go by train, but depending where your hotel is located, how much luggage you have and the time of your flight, this could just be a hassle - as it was for us.
The Flytoget Airport Express train from the National Theater station. Gets to the airport in about half the time as a bus, car, or other train, and much cheaper than a cab or Uber.
