Hi, I agree with the previous answers and the food recommendation. The hotel is very quirky and situated along some narrow quaint lanes. Ideally situated for the Marina and a walk into town and the Cathedral ( and shops)The beach is a taxi ride. You will not be disappointed.
The marina, with "Pescador" a very good fish restaurant is about 500 meters. I didn't go to the Beach, I think it's rather far.
Just a short walk through the town.
Hi, we didn't go to the beach(es) but the marina is just a few minutes walk across the main road.
The Marina is about 15 mins walk but for the beach we went to a private beach Club Nassau which the hotel booked for us and we got a taxi there approx 15 € ride. The beach was good and we had loungers with umbrellas and towels. They ask for a deposit as security for the towels which seemed OTT but it worked and we got the balance back when leaving. We also had a very good lunch there. When in Palma, do get the Orange Train to Port Soller certainly the highlight of our Palma visit
Hi, from the marina you have the city beaches very close by and can be reached by bus or taxi like Cala Mayor and Cala Catala or Park de Mar which is across the Cathedral. However is best to rent a car and head out to the different corners of this island. Most of the beaches we visited were between 30 minutes and one hour drive. All worth it. Cala Deia small but pretty cool and loved the drive through the mountains. Cala Formentor in the north with nice views. Es Trenc Beach, Ses Covetes for white a sand beach with kilometers to walk with may places to eat and drink, and Port de Soller Beach. I rented a car and parked a few blocks from the hotel. It did cost around 27 euros per day. The hotel works with local car rentals you can rent for the day. I wanted to have a car throughout the stay and rented from the airport.
It's a 5 minute walk to the sea and the marina - and we swam off the rocks there - but the beach is righ the other side of the bay - a bus ride of I would guess 10 mins. You can see it from the marina, but too far to walk.
