Hello. MJbLimbricht, I saw your post about the Nazi Party Rally Grounds. You mentioned a tour is at 2pm on the weekends. Did you go on it? Do you recommend it? Are there audio guides for people who are not in the city on the weekends and consequently cannot go on the guided tour?
We did go on the tour and found it very interesting. Our guide was a professor from the university and was well versed in the history of WW II. I am not sure about the audio guides. Our tour was arranged through our cruise line.
Hello everyone. My question was for PhilOsh. If you do not know the answer, it is not necessary for you to respond by saying you do not know the answer. Or, if you know of a tour company other than the one Phil Osh was talking about but did not name, please tell me the name of the tour company instead of just stating you suggest a bus company or taking a tour.
I would definitely recommend the bus tour. We went round the Nazi Party Rally grounds then onto the Courts. The courts are used during the week thus why our trip was only at weekends. However, we were told that a big extension is being made on the court building, so it can be used as normal during the week and also allow visitors to see the court room from the Nuremberg trials - which is very interesting/informative. The extension to the courts is due to be finished around autumn 2017
PhilOsh, which tour company offers a tour that runs all week of the sights? I looked on the entity's official website and it says the tour it offers of the outside sights (NOT the document center or old town) is only offered on Fridays and the weekend.
I am very interested in knowing which company offers a tour of the outside sights at the rally grounds every day of the week.
The only tour I saw that runs every day of outside sights is of the Old Town at 1:30.
I am not sure, please visit their website for more accurate information.
