Take the #4 bus from CDG to Montaparnesse and it is only a short walk from the station. Make sure to have your directions with you so you do not get turned around.

I arrived by train to the Montparnasse station.

It was not an easy experience to get out of it in the right direction (the Hotel is actually on the back side of the station). Very easy when you know the way, but the first time could be problematic.

Pasteur station is a valid alternative.

million dollar question, we took the train, very easy, hotel is just a short walk from the tube station, however if you are travelling with very young children and /or heavy luggage, you may want to look at train/taxi or hotel pick up.

We caught metro to Montparnasse station but it was quite a long and confusing walk from there to the hotel, carrying luggage (Pasteur station was closed at the time). Would suggest using the metro to the station and then catching a taxi till you orient yourselves.

The Air France bus to CDG airport is around the corner (app. 400 m walk). With that option you don't have to change trains/Metro - which, although slightly cheaper, will also entail a 400 m or so walk.

Best is to take a cab. You can also take Air France Bus. The Metro situation will be inconvenient as it is a bit far.
