I was guessing that the walk is at least 20-25 minutes if going to old opera house. uber might be more practical.
The answers to your question that are provided be,ow are excellent.
Hotel d’Aubusson is left bank, opera house is right, the walk is not difficult, about half hour, or you can take LYFT.
Hotel concierge is excellent with any questions.
I prefer left bank and wouldn’t stay anywhere else,
I should have told you, per my previous answer, that there is a very good hotel, the SCRIBE, within a block of the Palais Garnier, and the room rates are in the same range as those of the d'Aubusson. (And the historic Harry's New York Bar is down the next block one street over.)
The original Opera National de Paris is also known as Palais Garnier and is on the Right Bank at 8 Rue Scribe. It is about a 10-to-12-minute ride by taxi or Uber from Hotel d'Aubusson, which is at 33 Rue Dauphine on the Left Bank, about a block and a half south from the Pont Neuf over the Seine.
However, there is a NEW Opera National de Paris, farther out in the 17th Arrondissement at 32 Boulevard Berthier on the Right Bank, and if that is the one in which you are interested, I would estimate it is at least a 20-to-25-minute ride from the hotel.
In either case, per the previous answer, the hotel concierge can provide directions. And if you are making a reservation at Hotel d'Aubusson, you can E-MAIL THE HOTEL CONCIERGE and get your QUESTIONS ANSWERED IN ADVANCE.
Hello the National Opera House is about a 25-30 min walk. Around 2.4 km. Depends on your atttire and agenda. Lots of quaint coffee shops to pop in along way and grab a hot coco and yummy biscuit. We Ubered our way around. Probably a 6.00usd Uber one way. The hotel is in between Notre Dame and Louvre. And the Opera House is further beyond the Louvre. Any of those locations you can hop on the Big Red Bus and see all the great spots. Hotel concierge Can get you tickets to anything. Cheers!
