Strandhill Golf Club Questions & Answers

Middleton, Canada

My wife and I are planning a golf and sightseeing vacation to Ireland in September.

We plan to play 2 courses in the Galway area...........looking at Galway , Galway Bay , Connemarra

and 2 courses in Sligo area...looking at Enniscrone, Strandhills and Rosses Pt.

They all look nice.....looking for some suggestions.

I am a 9 handicap , my wife is 25

As a member of Strandhill Golf Club I would of course be biased towards Strandhill Golf Club and if I had to pick 2 out of the three to play in Sligo I would choose Strandhill & Enniscrone.

Enniscrone is a beautiful, challenging and long championship course & Strandhill is a shorter but also challenging links course that offers some of the most stunning views you are likely to experience in Sligo. There is a huge variety in the type of hole you will experience in Strandhill and it's a course that always keeps you thinking.

Strandhill is also fantastic value for money.

I hope you enjoy your time in Sligo, whichever course you choose to play.
