Collins Day Tours Questions & Answers

Eaton, Ohio

I know this tour stops at Glendalough and Kilkenny. I'm wondering if there is actually a stop in the Wicklow Mountains for a chance to take photographs. The itinerary on their website makes it sound as if they just drive through the area. I've e-mailed them and haven't gotten an answer. Thanks.

Yes, we stopped for a photo op overlooking beautiful scenery. We were quite high in the mountains, so it was cold. Given the cold temps, it was a brief stop.

They stopped at Wicklow Gap for 10mins for photos a few days ago I went with them. But then most of the views of the Wicklow Mountains can/should be viewed on the coaches...for me it's the general landscape that stands out. Besides the road is rather narrow and stops are mostly not feasible. Hope it helps!
