Yep. There are stairs inside but there's space to leave it.

Honestly, it really isn't. There are many steps that I just don't think a buggy could handle. Very narrow areas within the jail, and some (nice) cobbled walk ways. The three steps up to the main door would throw you, and you'd think 'awe this is grand', but na ,second level staircase is not suitable for a buggy. I think for health and safety reasons they'd either a) refuse entry, or b) ask you to remove your child from the buggy for the duration of your visit.

If you can manage without the buggy, it really is worth the visit. Very educational :)

Certain parts are ok but there are narrow steps and walk way on second floor, we left the buggy down stairs. Some cobbled area too in court yard, well wort a visit though
