Hi,

Thank you for your question. There are 27 steps to walk up to get to the lobby, but then there is a lift that operates on all floors of the hotel from the lobby.

Another thing to note is that we are located on Princes Street, the busiest street in Edinburgh and during December, with the Christmas market going on, it can get noisy. The noise is only noticeable if you have a Princes Street facing room. Rooms at the back of the hotel aren't affected.

Our members of staff will be happy to help you with luggage and with anything else you may need to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Steps up to reception but buses & tram stops & right on Princes Street & opposite railway station.

Yes, there are elevators, however, stairs from second floor lobby to street level. Those are the only obstacles I notices. Rob

It has no lift up the first 10 steps but apart from that yeah

Well it has a lots of stairs to go up to reception and then they have a lift for to go to the rooms

there is a flight of stairs to get up to reception, the lift was broken when we got there, 5 flights of stairs we had to walk to get to our room.

there a quite a number of steps to negotiate to get to the lobby. A few more stairs to go up to reach the lifts also
