What transportation options to airport for 8:30 flight?
Thank you for your question.
There are a few options for transport to the airport from the hotel.
The most expensive would be to get a taxi. its is about a 40 minute drive.
A second option would be to get the tram, you can get it from just up the street from the hotel and it'll take you all the way to the airport. Single ticket prices are a £5.50 to get to the airport from the city center and it'll take around 30 mins
And finally, you have the 'AirLink' bus. This starts from outside Waverley Station (just opposite the hotel) and it'll take you to the airport's departure entrance. Single tickets for this are £4.50 and it'll take around 45 mins.
Hope you find this helpful.
every 10 minutes there is driving the lothian 100 airport bus ( blue busses ) from waverley bridge to the airport. the ride is 35 minutes. single £3.50 , return ticket £7.50
We took the Airlink bus. It is right across from the Waverly so nice and convenient.
