Hi

Can you tell me is this hotel quiet? Is the air conditioning effective? How low does the thermostat go? Does it cycle on and off?

Im a light sleeper and plan to visit in London in July. Any comments and details are appreciated. Thanks

Hi, very quite. The thermostat isn’t an issue. It’s centrally located & has double, heavy Blinds so no light can come in if fully closed. Enjoy! You’ll love it!

I stayed here 3 weeks in January and am also a light sleeper. Even on the front of the hotel rooms are quiet, the thermostat is sensitive and effective. In comparison with many hotels I’ve stayed in this one is one of the higher rating for sound insulation. If you are concerned make sure to ask for a room without a connecting door.

I've had good experiences in general on the noise side of things but occasionally you can get a particularly noisy guest neighbour having a party at 2am. The hotel is on a main road but traffic noise isnt too bad.

The air-con units probably vary from room to room (subject to recent refurbs)

Sorry but we travelled in Oct so no AC required. The adjacent walls are a bit thin, so be prepared to use earplugs pending the nature of your neighbour. On the plus side, we let the front desk know about a problem with a couple who felt shouting was normal speech. We were given very quiet neighbours the next night and for the remains 5 days. Although never confirmed, I’d like to think that was done to keep us happy

Hi,

In my view the rooms can get very cold. The Air Con is not too loud.

I am also a very light sleeper. Stay away from the elevator, the announcement from it is loud.

AC is fine 8n the room but the lounge was really cold, I was there in July.

Agree with ktrase82 that it’s in a quiet area and the room is quiet,

The AC was fine when on low which I prefer so no issues there.

It’s a nice property but between us, I prefer the one at Regent’s Park not far from this

We stayed here the first week in December the hotel itself was quiet . We heard our.beighbouring room talking but we had a joining door so that was maybe a factor . The air con we used but you wouldn’t have known it was on . We had a double double room so maybe the people content help with noise. As such but this was a lovely hotel and we slept well from travelling and walking whilst in London anyway . Enjoy your visit to London
