I wouldn't bother with Heathrow express, too expensive, catch tfl rail or the tube, problem is at paddington there are no elevators from the mainline platforms to the tube so if you have bags you'll have to climb down many many stairs

I just realized that you asked for help for getting to the hotel. You can practically reverse the information I shared above. The line that serves the hotel area station (Kilburn Park) is Bakerloo line.

The easiest thing to do is to take a cab if you have a lot if luggage. Trains and tubes can get crowded and quite a bother.

We chose to use tube all the way. We walked to the Kilburn Park station (about 5 mins walk from hotel) and went to Piccadilly Circus and changed there to Piccadilly line going to Heathrow. It took us about 1hr 15 minutes and was under 5 pounds I think. Very convenient and extremely economical.

Hello Anastasia

Depending on what time you land at LHR the Madia Vale Marriott is ~45 mins by public transport. I would suggest Heathrow Express (train) to Paddington (pre book is cheaper - runs every 15 mins and takes 20 mins) then Tube from Paddington to Kilburn Park (10 mins), and then 7 mins walk.

You could get a taxi from Heathrow but that could take over a hour and be ~£60.

I had someone pick me up. It was about a 30 min drive from the airport. The tunnel(public train system) has an app you can use that to map your travel.

The Marriott Maida Vale is about 21 miles from Heathrow. The easiest way to get there is to take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station. The Express will take about 15 minutes from Heathrow and there are no stops until Paddington. Once you get to Paddington use the Tube. Get on the north bound Bakerloo (Brown line) then get off at Kilburn Park or the 4th stop from Paddington. You then walk through residential and business neighborhoods for about 4 blocks or less than half a mile. The Express, Tube and walk will take you about 30 to 45 minutes. You can buy a Tube pass (Onion card) at a kiosk in Heathrow where you purchase the Express pass. There are transit workers near some of the kiosks who can answer your questions and help you make your purchases.

Another option is to take a taxi. I’ve been told it takes 45 to 60 minutes to get to the Marriott from Heathrow. The cost is no less than $75 USD. The Express and Tube are super easy and convenient.

Hi

We departed at Stanstead Airport, but I did notice you could get to Heathrow via the tube. The concierge at the hotel will be able to guide you through all the options. I am confident you can get to Heathrow in around an hour.
