How close is hotel from centre of London?
Is it easy to get to/from in the evenings?
Hotel is accessible to central London via Jubilee Line on underground, and of course the courtesy ferry to and from Canary Wharf. Great views of river Thames make this a lovely place to stay and explore London.
Ferry is regular and a nice way to travel into the city it takes around 30 mins you can get upto Westminster they stop at London eye tower bridge and embankment it’s a relaxing way to travel. Enjoy
Yes if you catch the Thames clipper you can travel both ways. Think it goes up to the millelium wheel.
The hotel has a free ferry over to Canary Wharf, Thames Clippers fast Boat about 25 minutes to London Bridge, maybe 40 minutes approx to Westminster. Canary Wharf is near London City Airport in the East of the City, tube to central London from Canary Wharf ( 10-15 mins walk to tube station from ferry dock) 20-25 minutes.
We were on holiday so travel time into City wasn’t an issue for us. The Hotel has a bus stop nearby and buses to central London run from Canary Wharf, we used London Black Taxis a few times in the evenings until we realised the Thames Clippers and the Hotel ferry run late. The Hotel is south of the River Thames between Greenwich and Tower Bridge. I hope this information has been of help to you, the team on reception at the hotel are very helpful and happy to help, maybe you should give them a ring too. Best Wishes.
