We are booked in the town house Suite but a little put off by the negative reviews. What worries us is that there are so many bad reviews on this hotel. We do not want a bad experience but want to try this hotel. The negative points which put us off are poor customer service, the state of the property, the showers not working properly, no hot water or difficulty in controlling the water temperature, . There was loads of exposed wiring. We had members of staff walk into our room on 3 separate occasions without knocking at all. We were wondering if we could visit this room sometime before our stay maybe in a couple of days to see what it looks like. We don't want to cancel and want to visit but are seriously put off after reading the bad reviews.

Hi Toni and Laura. I would not recomend this Hotel because Of the lousy service and the state Of this Hotel. Its outdated, dirty carpetfloors and bathrooms. We had booked a two room suite, but were changed the day before our wisit to two double rooms instead, and when we complained about the standard they had no other option to offer.... Try an other Hotel instead, I would never recomend this Hotel.

I was there on the top floor just in May this year.
Put it this way. If you're staying for 1 night just put up with it and save your dollars.
If you are planning on a lengthy stay this place will not be one for great memories! The shower and bathroom full stop are simply hopeless. No water pressure, no regular temperature and in mine and my friend's experience - sometimes no water altogether! The shower simply turned off mid way and I had a head full of shampoo!
If you get to view the room before hand - I would strongly recommend turning on the shower and sink taps to run for a bit and try your luck.
If you're willing to part with a bit of extra cash, I would suggest going to the London Premier in Notting Hill. It's very close to Lancaster Gate and the service and rooms are impeccable.

Some rooms are tired . But if you want location it's great
