How far of a walk is to the SkyTrain station? Will the shuttle drop you off there, if you ask?
I do think the shuttle will drop you off at a station. If you do go to the airport buy your ticket in the 711 at the airport as I have heard you can avoid the airport tax added at the ticket kiosk and the station there.
Walk towards Maccas and catch bus #410. Will run into the sky train eventually.
The walk is too far along major roads. I would get the free hotel shuttle back to the airport and join the sky train there. The shuttle takes about 15 minutes so that gives you an idea of distance.
It is easier just to take the free airport shuttle offered by the hotel back to the airport. The drop off point for the shuttle is actually outside the departures and almost immediately across the road from the escalator that takes you up to the Skytrain platform. The airport station is the terminus, so it is easy to travel from there into downtown Vancouver and back to the airport again if you wish.
just take the shuttle, they don't have to know why you're going back to the airport! lol the skytrain leaves from the departures level up top.
take the hotel shuttle back to the airport and the skytrain is right there. enjoy!!
you have to take the shuttle from the hotel to the airport (free) and get on the sky train at the airport (people will direct you to the sky train once you are inside the airport)
The shuttle will take you the airport and tou can hop on the sky train from there if you need to ge elsewhere
No, you can’t walk to the Skytrain Stn. The shuttle will only take you to,the airport. There is a Skytrain Station in the Airport that will take you downtown.
There is no skytrain station in sight near the hotel location when we stayed there in February. I understand the hotel bus is only an airport shuttle. You have to contact the hotel about the shuttle bus dropping people off at nearby skytrain station. Accent Inn is in Richmond, I know the skytrain does go to Richmond, but might not going near Accent Inn.
