Maho now has a drink and food truck.

A safari is easy so our taxi if you will.

It’s like 10 minutes drive. You will love it.

You can either rent a car dockside or take a Safari bus to Maho. You should pick up picnic stuff because you can easily spend the whole day at Maho.

You must go there ! The turtles and the beach are amazing, don’t miss out.

It is not hard to get to, just follow the road. Out of Cruz Bay going north. Hope you have a rental car, it’s the best way to get around. Parking at Mayo is plentiful but best time is morning for turtle watching

The ferry from St Thomas will take you into Cruz Bay. Once off the ferry dock you will see safari style cabs on the left hand side that can take you to Maho Bay which is about 15-20 minutes each way. Definitely worth the trip.

Easy peasy! It is no more than 20 minutes given you can't go fast around the winding road. Though a car may be convenient in some ways, it isn't in many others. I would encourage you to take the human ferry and When you hop off the ferry you'll see several car rental or taxi options and even have a chance to grab a drink or a bite before. Since most of the stops are along the way up the mountain, you'll just hop off when the driver says you're at maho. I want to say it's the third stop but they also pick up sugar trail hikers. No more than 10 minutes though one way. I would recommend going up to Francis then stopping along the way down to get to see more. Please know maho is natural and you will not have access to snacks and drinks nor shade so I encourage you to bring or rent some shade for the day and pack a cooler you can carry easily or grab a drink and bite when you hop off the ferry. Bring a change of clothes and you can shower at trunk bay in their facilities because it's on the way down the mountain too and then you can spend the rest of the evening over on St. John's since the ferry travels until 10(last trip). Also, if you're able and school isn't back in session, they offer $5 parking at the schools on red Hook for the whole day. I'd you're going to drive keep in mind the ferry back is no later than six and the loading of the car ferry is first come first serve. Not usually a problem if you arrive early but makes you have to cut the evening short and you don't get to see the whole island. You might also want to check out see and ski charters based on red Hook at the marina near the ferry and see if you can charter a boat for a day to see what you'll miss if you travel by car due to the schedules. Either way, it's beautiful and worth it and you'll have a great time. Do t forget your sunscreen, protective clothing, and your snorkel!! Lots of turtles at maho and trunk.

For the next 2 weeks there will be only one car ferry a day. They are asking people (tourists) not to use it as it will be the only way for trash to get out, supplies in and service vehicles to get to the island. Much easier to take the passenger ferry over and grab an open air cab from the ferry dock up to the beach. No worries about parking and there are always cabs up there. They have done away with the along the road parking because the beach is now at the road! So you have to park in the lot they have created which is very nice, but yes you have to walk a little ways. Take a cab!!!

There’s only one road taking you there so it’s hard to get lost. It’s about a 20 minute or so drive. Parking is a breeze, but you may need to lug your stuff a short distance if you park in the lot instead of along the road.
