Thinking of booking here so came for a drink to have a look on a previous visit to Dublin. Is it usual for the hotel to have Garda sitting in the foyer all the time and undercover officers constantly walking around the hotel with radios and ear pieces in? Makes the hotel for very uneasy and off putting
That sounds very unusual for that hotel. We did not see any officers or undercover officers during our stay there. We felt very safe while staying there.
I've stayed here several times in the past and today is the first time I've seen a Garda in the lobby. Seems to be generally paying attention to who's coming and going. Visible presence for a reason I would assume. Sending a message to someone?
Garda etc in foyer is v unusual ,,, They were obviously on duty re ' something / someone'. It's good to see in a way as it's all for our safety. This is a fine hotel with highly trained young staff on a career path ,,, The rooms / beds are excellent.
