I am a yoga instructor. I stayed at this hotel back in 2009 for pleasure and am considering a return with a group of my yoga clients for a mini retreat.
I understand that the pool was just renovated which is great! How is the rest of the hotel / rooms?
I'm concerned that the hotel may feel a littler dated - I'm looking for a modern feel to wherever we decide to stay.
I'd love to hear specific opinions on the upkeep of the resort from those who have been there recently.
Thank you so much xx
Hi Eat-Pray-Luv. Thanks for reaching out. Since your last stay in 2009, the Resort has completed two major room renovations. Following renovations of rooms in Building A in 2009, rooms in building D were renovated in 2010, and in 2013 those in buildings B and C. There are plans to renovate rooms next year. We'd be happy to look into your requirements further if you could kindly email us with your dates and number of rooms. Thank you!
The rooms need a renovation but definitely the best hotel to stay in Phuket. One of the pools & wings were under construction but we didn't even feel that there was a construction. We enjoyed the beach and the other pool! You can still enjoy the hotel!
As I mentioned in my review, the hotel needs an immediate renovation to its rooms. But still, this hotel is one of the best hotels in Phuket in terms of location and the amenities that they offer. One pool being under renovation should not put you off since there is another fully operational pool just as good.
