Does anyone who has stayed in a Junior Suite, know which suite offers sea/sunset views from ground level terrace??? Or approximate position??? visiting June.
Has an upgrade been made available / offered to Amex Plat cardholders ?
Hi, Smileypawpaw is right, this is what I was going to say, this section of junior suite is excellent.
We overlooked Grande Anse beach. Most of the suites and villas look into this beach or in this direction- not all suites have sea views, as there is low vegetation to provide protection for the turtles' nests and baby turtles, when they hatch. But even if one doesn't have a seaview from one's suites, Grande Anse is really just a few meters away. Almost a hop and a skip (or 5). The suites that look onto Petite Anse are of course extremely central and will have the sunsets but on the other hand, it may be worth knowing that they are then also subjected to a bit less privacy if you are sitting outside (there are sun loungers in front, looking towards the sea; and also the small beach restaurant Takamaka is also situated in that area. So, it may depend what is more important to you. The further away the suites are, the less foot traffic. But having said that, it is a very calm and "quiet" resort. We found the guests to be very respectful of people's space and privacy- people didn't try to peak inside one's unit etc.
We stayed in a senior suite ground floor - 25, but there were junior suites on either side of us. We had a wonderful sea view. The sun set to the right of our unit. It was a few meters to the beach, where we could view the sunset.
My advice would be one of the units from 26/27 and under to be closer to the "sunset".
