Sorry, our apartments are not air-conditioned.
They are not air conditioned, however, because of the location and the construction of the apartments we found the ground floor where we stayed to be cooler than any of the other non air-conditioned places that we stayed in.
Note: With the cost of electricity in Rarotonga being around $0.80+ per Kw hour an air-conditioner like the 5kw unit in my home would cost close to $100 per day to run.
That is why most places with air-conditioning will cost you $100 - $300 more per day. Thats at least what we found.
So if you are staying between Jan and May, and feel that you really need air-conditioning just be prepared for the extra cost. I found it ok to sleep with the fan on, Mandy preferred air-conditioning. Other months June - Dec are usually a bit cooler and less humid
