We’re travelling to Tokyo in September with our (by then) nearly two year old daughter.
Although we’ll be taking enough nappies for the trip I like to know where I can buy things in emergencies.
From research I’ve done it seems as if they’re not readily available in most shops but the supermarket/shopping centre just north of Citadines when looking at google maps may have some.
Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for baby/toddler supplies around this hotel.
The staff at citadines will definetly be able to help you with this. They have a lot of knowledge and go out of there way to help. Will even show you on a map. Have a great holiday. We loved it.
There are a couple of drug store/pharmacy down the road (50 to 100 meters) on your left once you come out of the hotel. They sell baby products.
There are two Citidines in Tokyo, and I stayed at Citidines Shinjuku; the other one is Citidines Central Shinjuku. An important distinction if you take a cab.
Regardless, the staff at either location will happily tell you where you can get nappies. Also, there is a 7-11 or Family Mart about every twenty feet in Tokyo. (An exaggeration, but not by much.) I'm sure you'll find diapers there - you can find just about everything in a Tokyo 7-11.
You should be able to get baby supplies at Isetan departmental store to the left of the hotel -- abt 15 mins walk. There are also smaller convenience stores -- Lawson next the hotel & a Family Mart to the right of the hotel. The hotel counter staff can help with more specific guidance.
