My brother researched entry into the Parliament and I guess you must leave a government ID with security. For anyone who has been recently, first, is it true that you leave the id or do you just show it, and if you do leave it, can you leave something other than your passport? I'm not real keen on leaving my actual passport with anyone. Thanks for any information in advance.
I have made a reservation online through their website. After it said I need to phone a day prior to the tour to confirm, is this totally necessarily or could I email or turn up on the day instead? Also if I turned up at the Parliament the day before would I be able to book tickets for the next day?
