We are planning a trip to Vesteralen and Lofoten in Feb/March. Flying into Harstad/Narvik and renting a car for 2 weeks. I know you can rent cars at the airport but I have heard that it is much cheaper to rent from a local garage. Does anyone have any info on this please?
Need suggestion about visiting Leknes:
We are going to visit Leknes islands, Norway on this coming July with cruiseship. The cruise company charges few hundreds on full day tour to Lofoten islands and village of A that is kind of high fee. Renting a car would be a good idea, unfortunately, arriving date for us is on Sunday that no car rentals open in Europe.
Maybe a taxi with driver?
What is your suggestion ? We are two people only.
Hi how do I get to these islands from the UK? which is the nearest airport please? I believe the best way to go around is a car, thanks for any help
