Hi, just booked a Standard Room Sea View for myself (as my wife unable to travel at his time and I in need of a break following hip replacement rehab and before my pending return to work in March. Travel Republic confirmed to me that this is definitely a full sea view room at front of hotel So just wondered if anyone can provide me with a personal view of this type of room? I have requested a high floor as I need to be able to have some relaxation and quiet, when I am not out and about. Also I am arriving on the usual AirMalta scheduled flight arriving in Malta Airport at 10:30pm so probably only get to hotel by around 11:30pm to Midnight. Has anyone any good or bad experiences of arriving at this hotel in these circumstances late at night - ie what has been the friendliness/helpfulness of hotel staff in such a scenario? I am not used to travelling alone without my wife so I will be quite vulnerable on arrival on 20/2/2016 and as I am disabled I really hope the staff at the Diplomat will really try to make me feel welcomed, cared for and valued as a guest/customer/human being on arrival and until my check out on 29/2/2016. Also as I have some mobility problem, any tips on best caring supportive transfer taxi companies etc from airport, particularly at this time of night?
Many Thanks, Cuchillo
Hi do the full sea view rooms get the sun in the morning or afternoon at this time of year,,booked for 20th nov,,
Does the hotel cater for the disabled, in particular do you have walk in showers. All the bathroom pictures I have seen only show a shower above a bath.
