Hello. I am considering this day trip from Dublin. Does Collins Day Tour allow enough time to do these 3 things at the 3 hour Kilkenny stop: eat lunch in a restaurant, take the complimentary walking tour and tour the Kilkenny Castle (I have heard the castle takes over an hour)? If not, are there quick, take-away, lunch options there?
I will be arriving on October 15, 2016. I am booked for a week in Knocktopher Abbey in Co. Kilkenny. I am traveling solo and I have made arrangements for a rental car. Would it be possible to book a day trip private tour from Kilkenny to Killarney, Ring of Kerry and Dingle? What would the cost be? I might be willing to stay overnight and extend the tour to include other West Coast sites.
We are staying at the Charles Stuart , 5/6 Parnell St. What is the best way to get to where this tour begins on Nassau St. Would there be a direct bus?
I know this tour stops at Glendalough and Kilkenny. I'm wondering if there is actually a stop in the Wicklow Mountains for a chance to take photographs. The itinerary on their website makes it sound as if they just drive through the area. I've e-mailed them and haven't gotten an answer. Thanks.
Hello. Please could you tell me roughly how much walking is involved altogether and how much time is spent in Glendalough?
Is there any free time in Kilkenny? thanks.
Can you tell me how long the tour takes and also what the approximate cost is? Was it a private tour or on a bus with other people. I am going to be coming out soon and trying to figure out what tour companies are the best from Dublin to Kilkenny.
