We love the Discovery Princess! We've sailed on Discovery three times and have always had a wonderful time. We were upgraded to a window suite, which was absolutely the best stateroom we've ever had on a ship. The window suite stateroom would be perfect for an Alaska sailing! While we've sailed in suites before, nothing has compared to this particular suite! *See photos. We enjoy the restaurants - especially the Crown Grill and the Reserve dining in the Skagway dining room. The level of service is top notch! Per usual; Princess Cruises truly offers a unique experience and they honestly do have,"the "best crew at sea!" We've sailed with other cruise lines, but have decided to exclusively go with Princess.…

I’m not one to write a review but I felt the need to. We travelled the Princess Discovery Jan 11-18, 2025. This is our 3rd Princess Cruise and to be honest I don’t think I will return to Princess. The weather was cold ( not their fault I know) but sitting by the pool and taking it all in was not an option so I would have hoped they would have had some sort of entertainment but no .. movie under the stars every single day ( day and night) The ship does not have a lot of things to do, I was on this trip for my 52nd Birthday and honestly nothing to do ! Princess options was bingo , trivia, dance classes , art auctions Some may like this but I was hoping for a more lively atmosphere. Another upsetting issue as well My husband has a speech impediment and he was cut off ( alcohol) twice in the casino ! Their reasoning was oh sorry I thought he was drunk cause of how he was talking. I paid for our alcohol package and I feel this was inappropriate in so many ways ! I was disgusted.. train your staff ! Food wasn’t good Overall very disappointed with this trip…

The ship is beautiful. The food is ok but not the best. The service is excellent. One thing bothered me very much. I paid 314 for wifi service. The first 4 days i had so many issues with the wifi and i kept going to the internet desk to get it fixed . It took time from my schedule and it was inconvenient because i kept loosing service. 20 of my family members had the same issue. I spoke to the wifi manager to compensate me for the inconvenience but she refused to do anything and she started coming up with many excuses of how the wifi was working perfectly. She pissed me off with all the lies. So for that reason i wont be going on princess again.…

What a total disappointment on the Princess Discovery New Years Eve Cruise. The problem was in the Piazza where our traveling group of ten had seating on New Years Eve and expected some entertainment and a celebration party. It never happened until 3 minutes before midnight. The Entertainment Director, and whoever his boss is needs to be fired. The reason we paid for this cruise was for the New Years Eve celebration, total epic failure. My friend and his wife who are professional dancers and long time Princess cruisers never even got a chance to dance that evening. The rest of us in our group, most of which have spent hundreds of thousand of dollars on Princess over decades were also very disappointed. The customer service desk was very rude and told us the party was on deck 16, we knew the main party was there but expected at least something in the Piazza, what a total disappointment, never again.…

Discovery Princess is a great cruise all the workers there are super friendly and nice. The rooms are nice and clean and the food is great with the buffay the only downside there was is, the cruise is too big to find anywhere, at night the movie under the stars is too cold at night (great pools)!…
