All though the staff are very friendly and helpful, there is also a huge amount of chaos. Nothing was ever simple, even just to purchase water for the cabin! The food is truly awful, even in the restaurants. We suffered with stomach upsets for the whole cruise. We ate in the French restaurant and the staff were very nice but the food was horroble. Entertainmentt was hit and miss. Rock Opera was very poor, good talent wasted on a poor show. The ship wasn't full maybe a third full and had zero atmosphere. There was nothing to do in the day time. The pool was quite small, the decks are nice and hot tubs which was lovely. The ship had a foil smell toward the back and it could be smelt through out the decks even indoors which was terribly unpleasant. We had a few covid tests whislt we were onboard and the medical team were quite rude. One of the nurses a small British woman was very abrupt. The choice of shops onboard was lack luster and there wasn't even a store for things like snacks and drinks. The laundry facilities on our floor didn't work for the whole time we cruised either. So we had to use other facilities on different floors. Which is a inconvenient as it's a long walk. We didn't enjoy our time on the cruise and won't be using Princess Cruises again.

We are regular princess cruisers and generally are very satisfied. This cruise however was exceptionally poor, The standard of food in the dining room was terrible being cold and dry, Steak on several nights were inedible and not a decent vegetable in site. drinks service was very haphazard with wine often turning up after the meal was finished. Menus were very fish orientated and far to complicated with strange combinations Food in the buffet was also indifferent with odd menus and cold food, Daytime entertainment was also nearly non-existent. I hope this is temporary but a lot of first time princess cruisers were not impressed at all

After 40 plus cruises over the past 30 years, it took a recommendation from a Japanese gentleman in the Queen's Grill onboard Cunard's new QE that we took our first cruise with Princess Cruises and my wife and I are soooo pleased we did. The Sky Princess was a revelation and faultless in every way. Will we cruise with them again - you betcha!

First cruise with Princess an the new ship Sky Princess. We recently got married and chose Sky Princess to have our Honeymoon on. The check in procedure was fairly quick bearing in mind we all had to have a PCR test before being allowed on board which is a good thing. We both purchased the Soft Drinks package as we don't drink alcohol. The package stated that it included all coffee's and juices including freshly squeezed juices and bottled water. We only managed to get 2 freshly squeezed orange juices in our 7 night cruise. The Medallion App was a waste of time to be honest. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it did not. The ship was understaffed and we were told this by the staff, waiters etc. Our first morning we had breakfast in the Estrella Restaurant. We both ordered the English Breakfast. It was disgusting with over cooked griddled eggs, dirty looking bacon, chipolata sausage, tomato with black bits on it from being cooked on a dirty griddle, and overall not good to look at all. We did not eat hardly any of it as it looked so gross. We also ordered two small bottles of San Pellegrino (included in our soft drinks package) but found that we were getting charged for it. We approached the Reception and were told it was chargeable although on the Medallion app it stated it was included. Reception removed the water from our bill but this went on for the first 5 days of our 7 night cruise. We were also getting charged for wine and other alcoholic drinks we never had, so every day had to go to Reception to query this and have it removed from our account. We were having to check our account every day to have drinks removed that we never had. So our advice to others is to check you accounts daily! We never went to the Restaurants again for breakfast as the food was terrible. We decided to go to the buffet on Deck 16 but it was so busy up there you were lucky to get a table. The main Restaurants were NOT so busy at all at Breakfast time, I wonder why? We had pre-booked our evening meals in the Restaurants before we boarded the ship but so many guests who didn't could not get a table and were turned away, thus being forced to go the the Buffet on Deck 16. Our first evening meal was really terrible. I ordered the Pan fried Salmon but it was over cooked and cold. It was like a piece of well done beef. The waiter told me it was because it was sat under a heat lamp and we should go to the speciality restaurants if we wanted better quality food! The second evening we had such a bad meal we walked out of the Restaurant, totally appalled with the quality of food that was put in front of us. The next day during the afternoon the Restaurant Manager approached us apologising for the poor quality food and offered us a complimentary meal in 'Sabatini's' Italian Restaurant (one of the speciality restaurants) I have to admit that food was much better and we were looked after very well. We were asked several times during the course of our meal if everything was to our liking and we were even offered another complimentary meal in the Crown Grill the next evening (another speciality restaurant) again we could not complain and all was very nice. The quality of food on this ship other than in the two speciality restaurant's we attended was terrible and so many guests complained about it. I realise that masks were mandatory but to be told to put your masks back on in between sipping your drinks was a bit much. Only guests who had the two Covid jabs and PCR tests were allowed on the ship which is good and fully agree with this, however only 4 people to a lift but in the Restaurants you were sat on tables of 8 or more and you were sat next to people you didn't know so don't understand the reason for only 4 people to a lift? There is no actual Prominade deck as such to walk around on this ship. There is a small area at the rear on Deck 7 of the ship but that was all. The Entertainment wasn't that good other than 2 nights which we enjoyed. The rest of the entertainment on other evenings were just 'fill ins' We have done many other cruises with Celebrity and P&O which we found much better, especially the food ! There wasn't one person we had spoken to that enjoyed the food, all which were saying it was poor quality. To end I personally think that until cruise ships are completely back to normal without any restrictions we shall not be booking another one. We had spoken to others who had done other cruise with different cruise lines during the restrictions and none had much to say about them. Advice to others is to check your on board accounts daily, also to dine in the speciality restaurants as the quality of food and service was much much better but there are cover charges to think about!

We booked months ago for a stay station cruise around Britain, the itinery was changed and we were emailed a few days before departure. We have never cruised with princess before and were very disappointed. Moving the destinations entailed booking a PCR test this caused many passengers a lot of stress. The medallion app was of no use if you did not have a smart phone, the food was the worst I have had with many people sending their meals back, the daytime entertainment consisted of a few quizzes in the princess live venue which did not have capacity for the number of guests who wished to participate. We will never cruise with princess agsin
