This was our third trip on this itinerary with Princess. We opted for the aft Vista Suite this time on deck 10. This is furthest from the theater, spa, and laundry forward. Dining, International Cafe, and Atrium are mid ship. The buffet, bars, One5 lounge, and aft pool were above on deck 14 & 15. Cabin was perfect for us, plenty of space, storage, walk in showers, huge soaking tub, and several outlets. Cabin attendant was Eka and he was a plus 10 always available and very pleasant. Wasn't thrilled with the balcony was a little to crowded for my taste plus the position of this aft balcony must have been out more than it appears. We had wet loungers every day between showers at night and salt spray. Neither of which the cruise line has any control of but would think twice before booking this again. Cabin included Reserved dining in DaVinci starboard side dining room. Only one word fantastic, we are hooked. The fact we could show up whenever we were ready for dinner was a plus but the staff were the key. From the manager Rail to the Hostess Mamiso both were top notched we were lucky enough to have seats near the windows for lunch and the other side for dinner so experienced wonderful waiters throughout the 16 days. Thank you goes out to Jesse, Sam, Ajay, Reyson, and Jasper as well as Chef's Table waiter Noni and wine steward Anthony. A plus was each meal was served hot we didn't have anything served to us cold in our 16 days be it at lunch or dinner. We dined first night at Sabitini's and the meal was perfect each dish served was memorable. Manager Luigi has a great staff with Danilo, Carlos, and Alijandro. Tried Crab Shack for first time service was great but won't do the bucket for two again wasn't a fan of cold mussels and clams. Will go again next cruise if available but will each try one of the other items which are served hot. Also tried the Gastro Pub (casual dining) not a fan but others enjoyed this venue. Buffet wasn't up to the usual Princess standard we have come to enjoy nor were the pizza or grill on the pool deck. We did enjoy Alfredo's pizza (casual dining) twice and we enjoyed the different pizza options and service was excellent. Entertainment was as expected we enjoyed six shows in the theater at night, the destination talks in the morning and of course the Culinary Demonstration. They had several Hawaii themed things to participate in hula lessons, ukelei lessons, making leis. Fellow cruisers enjoyed these activities, we just enjoyed watching. The atrium was active morning through night we stopped by for a bit most days but not a lot of seats and the same people were there day and night, which is nice for them as they all appeared to enjoy all the entertainment provided. Pools were closed on this trip several times due to the rough seas. We got rain at night but there was a storm at sea though not close enough to us thanks to Captain Foster it did make for a rocky cruise. Plenty of seats in the shade for those of us who can't sit in the sun that was a plus. We enjoyed the Hawaiian Islands but our new excursion was cancelled and so we didn't get to experience the North Shore. Perhaps we will return to Oahu and stay a few days to do the Circle Tour. We did the luau at the Aloha Clock Tower and had a blast. This was 20-30 minute walk from the ship that was docked at pier 2. Easy to get to and the weather was pleasant. We didn't get off the ship in Ensenada. Getting on and off the ship. Well we had a suite and listed with this booking we were told prior boarding. This was incorrect, no suite or platinum/elite boarding line. We did board in about 30 minutes but only because when 11 was called and we were heading toward the gang way with 100+ ahead of us a lovely young man told us we needed to go through the handicapped (Ian on oxygen) gang way which was not busy at all. This is a very relaxing cruise for us and we enjoy the product Princess supplies we have sailed on three other lines and have loyalty on two of them but are higher on Princess with 17 cruise point 173 days traveled after this last trip. We do enjoy the older ships like the Grand.…

My advise. Don’t do it. Should have read the reviews before booking. There’s to many things wrong to list. Had a bad experience on the princess Sapphire last year. Thought I’d give them another chance. Big mistake. 1st day toilet didn’t work 2nd day heat in Cabin didn’t work. Had to call twice for repair Requested robes when booking. I had to ask for them. Asked for vegetarian menu. Didn’t provide one until I asked. I could go on but why. Just don’t go princess. This a very poor cruise line Also ships are out dated and they’re to cheap to pay port providers for TV. They use positioning as an excuse. That’s bull it’s on satélite. Enough said…

We just returned from a 7-day Alaskan cruise on the Grand Princess, which, unfortunately, did not live up to its name. While the service from the staff and the theatre shows were excellent, we were disappointed with many other aspects of the trip. The food in the main dining room was quite ordinary, with the same breakfast served daily. Although the buffet offered more variety, nothing truly stood out. The pastries were either dry or overly sugary, and the pizza was mediocre at best. The lounge entertainers seemed tired and lacked enthusiasm, often sounding shrill. In terms of comfort, the bed mattresses were too soft, and the furnishings were outdated. The hot water in the shower was inconsistent, fluctuating between cool to scalding nothing in between, even after it was supposedly repaired. We also saw four different water leaks from the ceiling, soaking the carpeted floor. The most troubling part of our trip was seeing our waiter visibly sick, even with a mask on ( We were all seniors sitting at the table). When we commented on his condition, he explained that the ship’s medical doctor had cleared him to work, advising him to wear a mask despite feeling unwell. We raised our concerns with the head waiter, suggesting that he should not be working. The solution offered was for the sick waiter to stop serving our table but continue working in the dining room, serving other tables nearby. Unfortunately, a few days and right after returning home, my husband tested positive for COVID-19.…

Had a good cruise. But inside stateroom was not ideal. We were on deck 11 Baja. Would have preferred outside room for a view from the deck. Variety of foods at international Dining. Ate at Botticelli, Michelangelo and DaVinci dining areas on different days but not much food to choose from. Ship had pools but too cold to swim. Had bought Package Plus for WiFi and drinks. Watched some music shows, very good. Due to confined space and weather each couple got sick, fever, cough and cold, which lasted 2 to 3 weeks after trip. There was someone on ship who had Covid, had to be disembarked at a port. Took medicines for sea sickness, fever, cough and cold and GI issues. Masking was rare.…

Great 7 day cruise with three day land package to Denali and Fairbanks. We had a mini suite and it was excellent. New bathrooms with tub. Ship is in really good shape. Everything went smoothly. The train was to long, 11 hours to Denali.
