Booked a cruise in January 2020 and paid a large deposit, cancelled booking March and requested a refund and was promised one. Still have not received a refund as of Nover 23, 2020 and when contacting them, they told me they have no ETA on when to expect a refund. If your thinking of taking a cruise, I would be super wary of any deposits because this company is not able to stand behind their refund policy. To me, I feel like they have taken my $ and run.

As of today, October 30, 2020, it has been 211 +/- days since Crystal cancelled the May, 2020 cruise we booked and paid for in full, months in advance and we still have not received our refund, that we have been told multiple, multiple times that "is being processed and that Crystal is continuing to make refunds". Extremely disappointing that a premium cruise company, such as Crystal, is not meeting their financial obligations, to their cruise clients, in a timely manner!!! What happened to the October 8, 2020 announced payment by the German Government of $227 Million Dollars to Genting Hong Kong, the parent company of Crystal Cruises???

Been waiting 7 months for an $83,000 refund for an owner's suite for a cruise they canceled. 7 months of lies and empty promises and just TODAY the best I can get is "Soon". Don't TRUST Crystal with your deposits!! They are NOT SOLVENT!! I have used my Amex rep for a decade and they have jerked him around. Well, I am going public. They need to be exposed. If they treat me like that, how about the thousands of others?? I am going after them publicly on Twitter and other outlets. I own VERY high profile domains that get millions of visitors. I am going to tell the world about Crystal!

Last year I booked a cruise for my wife and I for later in the fall, and cancelled it almost 3 months ago. They confirmed in writing we were entitled to a partial refund... three months ago. Despite many contacts, they have refused to commit to a time frame for when they will get around to living up to their obligation to refund money they are now just sitting on. I have complained to the BBB and Consumer Affairs office which resulted in form letters from their CEO describing about how backed up they are on refunds because of all the cancellations. Absolute utter nonsense because they are still now busily taking other unwary customers' cash on "advanced reservations". Like the show Seinfeld episode, they know how to TAKE reservations and deposit money, they just don't know how to refund it. I am a business owner. It takes less than 5 minutes to issue a credit card refund. I takes 3 months if you are about to go bankrupt and need to use cash due to other people to keep boats in the water and to continue operating a Ponzi scheme. If they were as focused on adhering to their contractual obligations and less on selling the equivalent of marshland in Florida, I would have received my refund by now. But they are not. Sadly, we enjoyed our last cruise with them, even if we should have noticed how one-sided their ticket terms and conditions are (buyers beware.. you should know you have no rights). But NEVER again will we do business with an operation as unethical and customer service tone deaf as Crystal. I expect they will respond to this with the usual song and dance about how tough COVID has made it to issue refunds. Baloney. Every business has been impacted by COVID, including mine. What separates the ethical from the unethical character is how they treat customers during the bad times. Hoarding cash is unethical. Caveat Emptor!

Our cruise aboard Crystal Serenity was cancelled by Crystal. We immediately asked for a refund. It has been nearly 90 days and we still don't have our money. They keep stalling. And they say how busy they are. Why don't they let their unemployed personnel help if they can't handle the business? We want our money--not excuses.
