This is a must see if you’re in Tucson and enjoy wildlife and plants/gardening. The cactus and other planting are incredible. You can view a mountain lion and Ocelot along with other cool attractions. Great gift shop and restaurant

If you like airplanes, you will love this museum. There are several hangers you can walk through. Some of the hangers have World War II airplanes, which I thought was fascinating! They have several Air Force jets, and old Air Force One, some Japanese planes from World War II, a building with more current space items including drones. There is an optional trolley ride you can take that’s 45 minutes long and cost $8. You also get explanations of the different planes and how they were used. There is also an audio guide that you can use. You could easily spend hours there.

Sabino Canyon is a wonderful, but very popular, natural area near Tucson. There is an entrance fee, but a National Parks Pass gets you in for free. At the base there is a giftshop, info area and restrooms. There are lots of varied hiking trails and a tram that can just provide a leisurely tour of the area or take you closer to some of the trails. The stream through the canyon can be bone dry or a raging torrent blocking the roads after a strong rain. At busy times the parking lot can be full but there is an overflow lot just up the road.

This drive up the mountain is beautiful and the scenery is amazing. There are several lookouts on the way up and then again on the way down. If you go all the way to the top, there's actually a ski hill where you may see snow. There were several people on bicycles on the way up. The flora and fauna changes on the way up. It is spectacular

There’s an eastern section and a western separated by quite a distance. Worth visiting both. The drive to the eastern section is quite the experience!

This is a nice peaceful garden with art pieces intermixed with lots of different kinds of cactus and succulents. Lots of trails to walk , museums to visit, and gift shops to check out. They also have an enjoyable restaurant with a very nice shaded area with a variety of things on the menu. You can do this in 1 1/2-2 hours with lots of benches to sit and enjoy.

Beautiful scenery with many different hiking trails to choose from. My wife and I did the Canyon Loop on a beautiful March morning. The trail was just the right length and difficulty for two novice hikers. The views at certain points are truly breathtaking.

Fantastic! Excellent! Most Entertaining! Great Fun! Do ya think we liked it? LOL!
We had the pleasure of stumbling onto the Gaslight Theatre on a visit to Tucson several years ago and put it on our list if we were here again. Once I knew we were coming, I made sure to make reservations, hoping we wouldn't be disappointed (as can so often be the case--good one time but not so good the next). We were so pleased to find our memory and hopeful expectations more than fulfilled. From the friendly greeting upon our arrival to the good pizza (& reasonable price) to the wonderful performance with its integration of contemporary songs, extemporized banter between actors, and audience participation, one can't help but laugh (as sometimes the actors do themselves). We found the performance so enjoyable we decided to get tickets for the next production, even though we will have left Tucson and will need to drive some distance to attend. Hey, we'll be closer than if we were home!
Truly, if you find yourself in Tucson and enjoy "community" theatre at all, THIS is one you should NOT miss. Plus, after the play, they do another "show," so for the price, it's quite the deal.

We visited this museum because of the positive reviews on TA. Glad we did. It was a unique display of all sorts of miniatures.

We just loved the beautiful gallery grounds, which reflect the art, soul and creativity of Ted De Grazia. There are small buildings and gardens to explore, a main gallery, even a chapel. Various art everywhere, all against the spectacular backdrop of the Santa Catalina Mountains. De Grazia was close to the Tohono O'Odham people, formerly called Papago, and his art reflects this connection. We left uplifted and inspired.

Desert plants are in hibernation for the winter, but the butterfly exhibit was very nice. If I go again, it will be in the spring.
