Set in a corner of the vast casino hall this restaurant looks rather depressing. The gambas however are worth defying both the smoke clouds and the clatter from the slot machines. Don't bring your loved one here for a romantic evening, though...Unless she's really in to gambas or chinese gambling.

The entrance is really cheap. The place is small an the displays are small too, you can see it in an afternoon. The thing is that the displays are awesome, some beautiful masks and wood carvings, a small representation of a temple and displays of textiles. Incredible place to see. No photos inside allowed.

I went to visit the zoo for the second time in Bamako. This entry tickets are VERY cheap (around 1.5$ only) and the tour can take around 2 hours to visit all the animals.
Some of the animals hide in the shade when it is hot and you cannot see them. The personnel is very helpful if you ask for info so do not hesitate (french speaking).
Also for around 8$ you can have a lifetime experience by feeding the zoo animals yourself. This starts at 7h30am and lasts for 2 hours. I havent tries it yet though but i will edit my review once i do.

I bought Crocodile Belt here. Yesterday(17.10.2017) I went along with my friend here to buy Crocodile Belts and Money Purse for my friend. There are many shops for choosing varieties of good belts and purses to purchase

What a beautiful, child friendly and so well maintained place. The zoo has enough attractions to entertain children while is clean, green and peaceful so adults will most likely love it too.

We went about midway through rainy season. I'm not sure how it is in dry season. But we LOVED it! The pool below is so refreshing.

I went in and was accompanied by a local, he spoke French and I only now like two or three words, despite that he was really helpful and understanding. You take your shoes off before entering. It's a big space with carpet on the floor, it was empty of people. The guy showed me around and we rested on the carpet. I asked if I could take pictures and he said yes. After the trip I offered money as thanks but he kindly refused. It's a beautiful experience.

Monument celebrating the independance of Mali... It's the closest thing Bamako has to a significant landmark, located at the center of the Place de l'Independance roundabout.
