Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What travellers are saying
- Diane WBoca Raton, FL19 contributionsThis was my mom’s synagogue in the 1920s before she came to America. Completely ruined by the Nazis, it has been magnificently restored. Beyond breathtaking. A definitely must see. Inside was a really surprise. Takes your breath away.Written 6 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Zuzana BPresov, Slovakia39 contributionsThis national park is especially famous for the dark sky observations. We went there in the early night and spent several hours looking at the stars, it was truly amazing experience. Must do for city people who don't get a chance to see such sight due to high light pollution. Definitely recommend a trip when you're around.Written 4 February 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Laura BConcord, NH1 contributionIt's a beautiful cathedral and we enjoyed a Friday night Mass with a lot of young people there. The Greek Catholic Church, Orthodox Church and Temple are also worth visiting.Written 25 September 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stephanie F3 contributionsVery informative tour, with lots of language options. Really neat tour to do. It is a ways out so be prepared for a large taxi fare if you don’t have a car rental. If we had read more about it we probably would have planned for the who day so we could go hike the trails on the other side.
The translation radios are a bit intrusive to others so it would be nice if they were headsets instead.
Otherwise really good.Written 19 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - laczkozsuDebrecen, Hungary2,488 contributionsWe took a trip to Bardejov and we visited this old wooden church, too. It’s nearby, only a few kms and worth a visit. It was built in 15th century and it’s on the UNESCO World Heritage List with others wooden churches in Slovakia, but it’s the it is the only Roman Catholic church. Unfortunatelly it was closed so we couldn’t see the inside.Written 5 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SocccaTolmin, Slovenia1,808 contributionsUnfortunately we were late so we could not enter the palace to see the museum. But we could admire the exterior. The palace is definitely the most beautiful building of the main square.Written 7 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - smerusLondon, UK29 contributionsSalt mine - sounds boring? You're wrong! Amazing survivor of 18th century technology - you can see the unique mechanism whereby ponies and horses drew up the salt solution from the depths and the drying houses where the salt was crystallized. Also the wooden tower which summoned the workers. Great trip back 200-300 years. Helpful staff.Written 12 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Silvia GKosice, Slovakia376 contributionsThe wooden church from village Zboj was built in 1706. It has traditional three- sections, four- room structute (the nave, the sanctuary, the seats and the choir). It is one from two churches situated in open- air museum of Bardejov spa.Written 9 September 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - laczkozsuDebrecen, Hungary2,488 contributionsI saw lots of Neptune fountaine in different cities and wanted to visit this one, too. This Baroque fountain is in the centre, in the Main square. It’s nice, worth some photos. It’s located near famous buildings, like City Hall, Rakoczi-house and St. Nicolas Concathedral.Written 22 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Milurit2 contributionsAt arrival you have to choose how long are you going to stay (children’s playground....)?!
No air condition - heavy sweaty air inside during hot summer!
Tap water for 0.9 € per liter maybe the most expensive water in Europe
Must see!!!!
