    Amazing tour to catch the highlights of Rovaniemi
    The two-day adventure tour was AMAZING. We really enjoyed snowmobiling and visiting the huskies and reindeer as well as the zoo. Our tour guides Miko, Tiia, and Sofia were so knowledgeable and helpful the whole time (hope I spelled those names right!). The first night we didn't get to see the Northern Lights unfortunately, but it was still such a pleasure to cozy up by the fire inside the teepee, roast marshmallows and drink hot berry juice, and listen to Miko talk about Finnish culture. I do think it would be nice to offer to change the date of the lights tour according to the weather, as the guides were able to check their apps and see the forecast of the cloud cover/strength of the aurora for that day and week. We had other free evenings that week, so just offering to switch it to another night would've been amazing. Nevertheless, we booked a one-night minibus tour later on in the week and got to see them with Tiia, who was a great guide and led us to catch the most vibrant timing of it. All in all, would definitely recommend!

    Excellent service
    Very happy with this service. The driver collected us from our hotel, was on time and very pleasant. He gave us advice on arrival and waited until we had visited the zoo and had lunch before driving us back to our hotel. I would recommend this service to anyone wanting to go to the zoo, it certainly makes for a stress free and comfortable journey, the cost of the tickets for the distance of the drive was worth it.

    Zoo in Narnia setting
    Seeing Arctic animals and birds in outdoor enclosures, covered in snow, was amazing. It was as close as seeing them in their natural environment as you could get. I felt like I was walking around a zoo in Narnia. The park is a reasonable size and took about 90 minutes to walk slowly around. Our Spanish guide, his name is William translated to English, escorted us around the park pointing out the animals and giving information as we went. He was very good and interesting to talk to. As you walk fairly slowly around I found that by the end of the tour I was getting quite cold so make sure you have sufficient warm clothes or take the offer of the tour company overalls and boots.

    Must-do for all dog lovers out there!
    Amazing visit! Nice to learn about wolfdogs and a lot of fun to get to interact with them. You can really tell they have a lot of space and are taken care of with nothing but love and respect for the animals. Would definitely recommend!

    Fantastic day to the zoo
    Had an awesome experience with Antonella our guide. She took her time to get us prepared, took us too a beautiful viewpoint and drove us safely to the zoo. The farms were great. The really care for the animals. Zoo was great in the winterscene. Most animals were out.

    Total Rip off.
    We went in January and its a waste of time. Nearly all the animals were hiding in their pens or locked away for the winter. Never saw any Brown bears , polar bears , wolves etc. etc. Also building work going on all around. Also the paths were very icy and treacheraous. Total Rip off.
    Maybe better in summer.

    Nice experience
    The whole tour was interesting. drove by bus with tourists from different countries. managed to get to know each other. it was very fun. The driver explains everything and tells. very good English. I really liked the pack of wolves and the fox. and in general the atmosphere there is like in a fairy tale! Thanks Norcha!👌

    Absolutely worth it!
    I visited the zoo on a warm (-4°C), sunny monday and was lucky to see most of the Arctic animals. The zoo is an animal sanctuary too, so they are very well taken care of. Special thanks to Pedro, our very friendly guide and good driver! Good selection at the buffet! There's also a Karl Fazer chocolate and candy shop with good prices.

    Excellent service
    Excellent service and well-organized transfers and visit. We had a lovely and cold day spent in Ranua Zoo with animals. Shame that the children's playground was closed, probably for safety reasons. The playground looked really good though, hopefully, they open it soon.

    If you have the full day available . JUST DO IT
    We were very fortunate to have an intimate guided tour ( just me and my partner ) with our guide Pedro who was very good from start to finish .
    I reccomend the full day because we had time to see things , and never rush to finish pack and move on to the next part of the tour .
    At lunch we had time to get know each other and talk friendly about Finland/Lappish culture , and for dinner after the Sauna/Lake experience we had the most intimate dinner of our life cooked to perfection at the little house by the lake .
    Pedro with his experience was always professional , fun to talk and very knowledgeable.

    Amazing experience
    We booked the 2 days packages, that includes 4 different tours (Ranua park, renders farm, wilderness hiking and 2 Norther lights tour).

    We were in family with our 6 years old daughter and they adapted the wilderness tour to make it possible for her.
    It was an amazing experience, about all, the wilderness tour, where we live an incredible experience in a beautiful and peaceful environment.

    We were not lucky to see the Northern lights, due to weather conditions. It was cloudy both nights. But thanks to that,we have a reason to back to Lapland.

    We recommend Wild About Lapland 100% for anyone that wants to live a great experience in Lapland. The are really nice people, and very good guides.

    Awesome full day!
    We were 2 families with 4 children aged between 6 and 10 years old. Both adults and kids had the most amazing time! It was an awesome day starting with the zoo, lunch, ice floating (adults only), sauna to icy lake and dinner. Pedro our guide was great...very nice and very informative. Highly recommended 👌

    EXCELLENT OPTION FOR EXCURSIONS IN ROVANIEMI
    The driver/guide (Egor) picked me up at hotel at the scheduled time in a very comfortable car, and drove all the way to Ranua Zoo telling facts and curiosities and providing answers to all my questions. He took care of the ticket, gave me useful tips for the visit and provided a very nice lunch before leaving. On the way back, as a courtesy, he took me to Santa Claus Village to let me take a picture at the arctic circle line, before dropping me back in Rovaniemi, exactly five hours after departure. This was a very nice experience. Excellent program, comfortable car and nice guide, I strongly recommend.

    Amazing experience with guides Julien and Matteo on our visit at the zoo , during the trip my wife was not feeling well at one point and Julien was very attentive he immediately brought us back to the car for her to rest . You guys are wonderful !
